The Idea
Hi everyone - I have a big announcement! I’ll be starting a travel blog. I’ve owned this website name for quite some time but never knew what I would do with it. Well, now, it has its purpose. So, as I was saying and as the title of this post suggests, this is still an idea. However, I must say, it’s a pretty well-thought-out one (I wouldn’t call it a plan yet).
Nevertheless, I have decided to throw caution to the wind to begin this journey. To kick off and properly start this travel blog and vlog duo, I will be embarking on a trip that I have only dreamed of taking for the last ten years. In the coming days, I will board the Trans-Siberian Railroad and head into the eastern parts of Russia. My first stop will be in Yekaterinburg, about 25 hours away from Moscow, where I’ll spend one day there until I continue my journey. I’m still debating the next stop on the route, but it will be Omsk, Novosibirsk, or Tomsk. Following that stop, I’ll be heading straight for Irkutsk. I’ll be able to rest my eyes on Lake Baikal (google it, you won’t be disappointed). After that, there are a few other stops that I’m tempted to make on my way to Vladivostok, the final stop on the Trans-Siberian. However, I haven’t planned that far ahead yet.
Now, I want to take a moment to thank everyone who has helped me get this far in life. To my parents, my brother, extended family, and friends, I say: thank you. I don’t think I say it enough. If you want to follow me on this journey and the future ones, all the icons above will bring you to my social media pages. I will try to be more active than I usually am on them, and please feel free to reach out (service might get spotty sometimes, but I’ll be sure to answer). Again, thank you.
